It places the optical communication fiber in the center with two parallel fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) or steel wires on both sides for strength. An additional steel wire reinforcing element is added on the outside, and the entire structure is protected by a black or colored low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket.
