🔍 Product Overview

12 24 48 96 Core Outdoor Direct Burial Anti-Termite Submarine Fiber Optic Cable

The fibers (250um) are positioned in a high-modulus plastic loose tube filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A central metallic strength member (steel wire) provides core stability. The cable core is protected by an Aluminium Polyethylene Laminate (APL) and filling compound against water ingress. Encased in a PE inner sheath and single steel armor, the cable is finished with a robust outer jacket for extreme environments.

Key Features
  • Excellent mechanical and temperature performance
  • Single-steel armor for superior tensile strength
  • Hydrolysis resistant high-strength loose tube
  • Special tube filling compound for critical fiber protection
  • Exceptional crush resistance and flexibility
  • 100% cable core filling for water-tightness
  • APL and PSP moisture barriers
  • Effective water-blocking technology

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary applications for this cable?
This cable is designed for long-distance communication and is suitable for direct burial, pipeline installation, and even underwater (submarine) environments.
What is the operating temperature range?
The cable is engineered to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.
How does the cable ensure water protection?
It utilizes a combination of water-resistant filling compounds in the loose tubes, 100% cable core filling, and an Aluminium Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture barrier.
What is the maximum core count available?
The GYTA53+33 model supports a wide range of fiber counts, typically from 2 cores up to 288 cores.
What material is used for the outer sheath?
The outer sheath is typically made of HDPE, but can also be supplied in LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) or Flame Retardant materials depending on requirements.
Does this cable provide protection against pests?
Yes, the design includes anti-termite properties and robust armoring to protect the fibers from biological and mechanical damage during direct burial.
