Product Detail

The GYFTY fiber optic cable is constructed with a 250µm fiber optic cable in a high modulus material loose tube filled with a waterproof compound. At the center of the core is a glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP). The loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the central reinforcement to form a compact and round core with a water barrier filler in the gaps. A polyethylene (PE) sheath is extruded over the core to complete the non-metallic design.
