Outdoor Singlemode Aerial Or Duct Use 12 - 288 Cores Armoured Optical Fibre Cord GYTA Fiber Optic Cable

Product Description

Product Overview
The structure of GYTA optical fiber cable features 250μm fibers positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus material, filled with a waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metallic steel wire strength member. For specific core counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded outside the central strength member. Tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact, circular cable core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is longitudinally applied over the cable core, which is filled with filling compound to prevent water ingress. The cable is finalized with a durable PE sheath.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the main application of GYTA fiber optic cable? GYTA cable is primarily designed for outdoor use in duct or aerial installations. Its moisture-resistant aluminum tape (APL) makes it ideal for environments where moisture protection is critical.
2. How does the metallic strength member benefit the cable? The central metallic steel wire provides high tensile strength, allowing the cable to withstand significant axial loads during installation and throughout its service life.
3. Is this cable protected against UV radiation? Yes, the outer sheath is made of high-density Polyethylene (PE), which offers excellent resistance to ultraviolet (UV) radiation and environmental weathering.
4. What is the operating temperature range? The cable is engineered to perform reliably in extreme conditions, with an operating and storage temperature range of -40℃ to +70℃.
5. Does the cable feature water-blocking technology? Yes, it uses a combination of waterproof filling compound in the loose tubes and a full cable core filling to ensure complete protection against water ingress.
6. Which standards does this cable comply with? The cable meets or exceeds international standards including YD/T 901 and IEC 60794-1, ensuring high quality and compatibility for global telecommunication networks.
