📝Product Description

GYXTC8S Aerial Figure 8 Central Loose Tube Outdoor Armored Optical Fiber Cable

The 2~12 fibers are positioned in a central PBT loose tube filled with tube gel. The cable core is filled with water-blocking compound and armored with corrugated steel tape (CST). Stranded steel wires serve as the messenger for self-supporting aerial installation. Finally, a figure-8 PE outer jacket is extruded.

Key Features:
  • Central Loose Tube structure
  • Figure-8 design for easy self-supporting installation
  • Small size, light weight, and high flexibility
  • Hydrolysis resistant loose tube
  • Tube gel for critical fiber protection
  • Corrugated steel tape (CST) for moisture-proofing

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the main application of the GYXTC8S fiber cable?
The GYXTC8S cable is primarily designed for self-supporting aerial installations, specifically for aerial access and FTTH drop cable applications.
2. Why is it called a "Figure-8" cable?
The "Figure-8" refers to the cross-sectional shape of the cable, where the optical fiber unit and the steel messenger wire are integrated under a single PE jacket, resembling the number 8.
3. What kind of protection does the corrugated steel tape (CST) provide?
The CST armor provides excellent moisture resistance and enhances the cable's mechanical protection against lateral pressure and rodent damage.
4. Can I customize the fiber count for this cable?
Yes, the GYXTC8S series typically supports fiber counts ranging from 2 to 12 cores to meet different network requirements.
5. Is the outer jacket UV resistant?
Yes, the outer jacket is made of high-quality Polyethylene (PE), which provides excellent resistance to UV radiation and outdoor environmental stress.
6. What certifications does your manufacturing process hold?
Our production facilities are fully certified under ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards, with products meeting RoHS and CE requirements.
