Product Overview

Outdoor Aerial Single/Double Jacket 6-144Core G652D Span 100m ADSS Fiber Optic Cable

All Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) Fiber Optic Cable is designed with a loose tube stranded structure. Bare fibers (200um or 250um) are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics, filled with a water-resistant compound. The tubes are stranded around a non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) central strength member. After being covered with a thin PE inner sheath and layers of aramid yarns, the cable is completed with an outer PE or AT (anti-tracking) sheath.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is ADSS fiber optic cable?
ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable is a type of optical fiber cable that is strong enough to support itself between structures without using conductive metal elements. It is designed for aerial installation on distribution and transmission lines.
What core counts are available for this cable?
Our ADSS cable supports a wide range of fiber counts, from 2 cores up to 288 cores, catering to various network capacities.
What is the difference between PE and AT sheaths?
PE (Polyethylene) is the standard outer sheath for normal environments. AT (Anti-Tracking) sheath is specifically designed for high-voltage environments to prevent electrical tracking on the cable surface.
What is the maximum span distance for ADSS cable?
The span distance depends on the cable design and environment. We offer solutions for spans starting from 100 meters up to 1000 meters or more, depending on the tensile strength and technical requirements.
Is ADSS cable resistant to lightning and electromagnetic interference?
Yes, because it is "All-Dielectric" (contains no metal), it is immune to electromagnetic interference and is safer for installation in areas with high lightning activity or near high-voltage power lines.
What are the storage and operating temperature limits?
The cable is designed to perform reliably in a temperature range from -40ºC to +70ºC, making it suitable for most outdoor environmental conditions.
