Product Description

Fiber Optic Cable Header

OEM ODM Services: We hold a number of patents in the field of optical fiber cable manufacturing, allowing us to design and manufacture various optical cables according to different requirements.

Our Product Range Includes: Outdoor Optical Cable, Indoor Optical Cable, Indoor Armoured Fiber Optic Cable, FTTH Cable, ADSS CABLE, Optical Power Composite Cable, Stainless Steel Tube Optical Cable, Air Blowing Fiber Optic Cable, fiber optic jumper, PLC Splitter, Fiber Optic Adapter, Optical Fast Connector, ONU, Optical Termination Box, Fiber Media Converter, Industrial Ethernet Switch, Optical Fiber Splice Closure, etc.

All Dielectric Self-supporting Aerial Cable (ADSS)

ADSS cable is loose tube stranded. Fibers (250μm) are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes and fillers are stranded around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core.

After the cable core is filled with filling compound, it is covered with a thin PE inner sheath. After a stranded layer of aramid yarns is applied over the inner sheath as a strength member, the cable is completed with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath.

Equipped with world-leading production equipment, our ADSS optical cable tensile force is 18% higher than the industry average index. Every fiber undergoes rigorous testing before leaving the factory.

Key Characteristics

  • Can be installed without shutting off the power
  • Excellent AT performance; maximum inductive at the operating point of AT sheath can reach 25kV
  • Light weight and small diameter reducing the load caused by ice, wind, and towers
  • Large span lengths with the largest span exceeding 1000m
  • Superior tensile strength and temperature performance
  • Designed for a 30-year life span

Product Application

The design of ADSS cable accounts for the actual situation of power lines and is suitable for various grades of high voltage transmission lines. Polyethylene (PE) sheath is utilized for 10 kV and 35 kV power lines. For 110 kV and 220 kV lines, the electric field strength distribution determines the hanging point and the use of an anti-tracking (AT) outer sheath. Aramid fiber quantity and stranding processes are customized to meet specific span requirements.
